The Realisation Festival is a gathering for the soul. It takes place in the stunning surroundings of St Giles House in Dorset. The spirit of the weekend is a desire for inspired ways to respond to all that’s happening in today’s world.

The gathering uniquely brings together talks and workshops, music and other imaginative activities to broaden and explore the analysis and ideas. It is led by remarkable artists and improvisers, as well as world class speakers. The weekend is an opportunity to reckon with our times, as well as unlearn assumptions and reimagine responses.

Keynote speakers this year include Rowan Williams.

Individually and through meeting and engaging with others, realisation is fostered in three senses. How to get more real about the world in which we live? How to become more real in ourselves in our response to that world? How to make the insights and ideas that arise from the weekend real?

Alongside group conversations and small groups, the programme offers time to be enriched by workshops and other activities, as well as the parkland around St Giles House. The aim is to have space to confront difficulties and possibilities at the level of mind, body and spirit. Talks and walks, music and food, contemplation and imagination come together to create room for intellectual, physical and spiritual nourishment, to support personal and social change, and nurture expansive understanding.

Mark is one of the directors of the festival. For full details see here!
